QiaoBio was founded in 2006 by a team of scientists devoted to introduce the most advanced technology and instruments to the Chinese bioscience society. To date, we have developed into
a major distributor of life science products in China. Our product lines cover a variety of biochemical
and immunological equipments, reagents, cell culture facilities, and disposables. |
|
|
Unlike traditional distributors, our in-house scientists always investigate deeply into the real life application of the cutting edge technology, and try to balance what is offered with what is needed. This is embedded in our mission to deliver the most effective products in the most efficient way to the customer. As a result, extensive participation into our customers’ research work has always been a common practice in QiaoBio. This service and business model has allowed us to build an exceptionally strong relationship with our customers, now including over 50 leading research institutes and 40 university hospitals nationwide. |
|
Being flexible has been extremely important to our operation since the founding of QiaoBio. By operating offices in the United States and around the world, QiaoBio ensures that our customers
and partners can conduct business as effectively and efficiently as possible.
Looking forward, we are planning to expand into the emerging Molecular Diagnostic market in the Greater China Region. We consider this a strategic move as breakthroughs in DNA genotyping and protein biomarkers have offered a wide range of novel tools in diagnosis, healthcare risk assessment, and safety and clinical surrogate markers in drug discovery. Consequently, molecular diagnostics using nucleotide and protein markers opens a new yet quickly growing market and we are actively seeking partners with such portfolios to add to our product lines to meet this emerging demand in China.
To further adapt to this dynamic era of genomics and proteomics, we are determined for a more dramatic transition by including documentation and marketing services of in vitro diagnostic (IVD) products manufactured abroad. The State Food and Drug Administration (SFDA) places IVD in the category of medical device and thus requires SFDA approval and indirect sales through domestic distributors. Our newly formed consulting arm consists of specialists in SFDA regulation and will
prepare all required documents for you to markedly facilitate the application process.
